ADELE L. WELLS, is the Principal of Adele Wells & Associates, a Washington, DC - based consulting firm specializing in the field of development and institutional advancement. Prior to establishing her own firm, Ms. Wells was Senior Executive Consultant with Ketchum, Inc. one of the major firms in the development field. Prior to joining Ketchum she served as Executive Vice President of Development for the College Fund/UNCF. From 1979 to 1991 Adele Wells served as Vice President of Alumni and University Relations for Georgetown University. Before joining Georgetown University, Ms. Wells was Director of Corporate Development for Cornell University. Ms. Wells was educated in Switzerland and England and holds an honorary doctorate of Humane Letters from Georgetown University. She resides in Washington, DC.
